Según nos cuenta el propio George R.R. Martin (GRRM para los amigos) en su LJ:
La HBO ha dado orden para que el piloto para Juego de Tronos, basado en su colección de libros.
De momento, solo será el piloto, para ver si deciden que tenga temporada completa… pero por lo pronto, George dice que el guión es muy bueno, y que se mantiene muy fiel al original, así que los fans de los libros pueden estar tranquilos…
¡Ahora el Fandom se muere por saber quienes serán los actores!
Además, España es una de las posibles localizaciones para la serie… lógico, con tanto castillo :)

It’s just the pilot so far. They’ll need to see that before they decide whether to proceed with a full season’s episodes. So let’s all hope the pilot will kick serious ass.
It should. David Benioff and Dan Weiss did a terrific job with the script. And yes, all of you can relax, it’s very faithful. Dan and David will be the executive producers for the pilot and (we hope) the eventual series.
More details when I have ‘em. The news is very fresh. HBO just issued their own press release, which should be up on their website soon, if it’s not there already.
Winter is coming to HBO. Hot damn.

muy, muy, muy buena noticia, yo me voy por el tercer libro y es una saga cojonuda y me alegro mucho de que hayan decidido llevarla a TV no meperderé ni un capitulo
